Don's Legacy

After the heartbreaking loss of Danielle on February 18, 2024, Danielle's brother-in-law, Don Kumpf, with the unwavering support of Danielle's husband, Dave Kumpf, made it his mission to ensure that her life, kindness, and spirit would never be forgotten. What began as an act of love quickly became a lasting purpose. He poured his heart into creating the Danielle Kumpf Memorial Fund, organizing the annual golf outing, and establishing scholarships that continue to support students facing difficult times.

Every event, every donation, every scholarship, and every life touched by this foundation carries Don's fingerprints. His dedication transformed unimaginable grief into hope for others, proving that even through loss, compassion can create something extraordinary.

On January 18, 2026, just one month before the second anniversary of Danielle's passing, Donald J. Kumpf Jr. unexpectedly passed away. While our hearts were broken once again, the mission he built did not end. Instead, it became an even greater responsibility—one we are honored to carry forward.

Today, this foundation stands as a tribute to two incredible lives. Danielle is the reason for our mission, and Don is the reason that mission became a reality.
